About Our Music
David Moyer, head of Moyer-Mangione Music, brings to this organization over 40 years of teaching and performing experience. His Bachelor of Arts degree includes 5 years of collegiate studies at Gonzaga University (1968-1970), and Whitworth College (1970-1973).
Cathi Mangione-Moyer, wife of David, is a performer and teacher with Moyer-Mangione Music. She also brings to this organization over 50 years of teaching and performance experience. Her studies include private instruction with Sigrid Grinius and Bela Nagy. Cathi is a professional accompanist and available for hire.
Together, they have produced over 10 recordings including 45s, LPs, cassettes, CDs, VHSs, and DVDs. They are both active in performance and teaching. They reside in Hidden Meadows, a suburb of Escondido, California.
Lessons Offered
David teaches students from beginning to advanced, ages 3 and up. He offers instruction in voice, guitar, piano, flute, trumpet, bass, music theory, projectional speech pronunciation, and acting. Should you desire a college degree in Music, he teaches beginning thru advanced music theory, sight reading, sight singing, and composition and analysis. He offers a flexible arrangement to learning whether it be coming to your home, coming to his studio, or learning from him online.
Cathi offers advanced instruction in piano and voice in their home studio.
Both Cathi and David are available for onsite performance coaching, be it live or on film.
